An easy to use floor paint ideal to decorate interior and exterior floors in both industrial and residential settings. Coo-Var has formulated a floor paint that is suitable for use on a range of surfaces including wood, metal, and concrete. Preparation

All surfaces should be clean, dry and sound ensure to thoroughly sweep the floor to remove any debris.

• Concrete surfaces including power floated, granolithic and smooth surfaces should be abraded to create a key. Either sand the surface or use to prepare the surface and removes any laitance.
• New concrete must be allowed to cure generally this can take up to 3 months.
• Other surfaces have to be prepared and primed with the suitable primer for that substrate.
• Previously painted surfaces should be cleaned, degreased, and sanded to create a key.
• Remove all loose and flaking material to leave a smooth surface ready for painting.
• Treat any knots or staining with an appropriate stain blocker to avoid any discolouration.

Application

As dictated by normal good painting practice, in confined spaces, provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.

• Mix well before application, apply using a brush or roller.
• Recoat in 16 hours and hard dry in 12 hours.
• It will achieve full hardness in 5-7 days.
